1970's Cincinnati Reds Collection
The "Big Red Machine" dominated the 70's by capturing World Series Titles in 1975 and 1976 after falling short in 1970 and 1972. Twenty Two (22) World Series ticket stubs, fourteen (14) NLCS ticket stubs, fifteen (15) Opening Day ticket stubs and a NRMT pair (2) of ticket stubs from The 1970 MLB All Star Game highlight this Reds treasure chest. Lot includes nine (9) various World Series/NLCS and Opening Day Programs (with lineups and boxscores written in). A MT 1970 All Star Game Program is included along with four (4) Indianapolis 500 Programs (1971-1974) and a ticket stub from the 1974 Indy 500. For the true Reds fan, this lot also contains a 1990 Reds World Champs t-shirt (size L and never worn), a pair of 1973 Reds Team 12" rulers,a 1970 mini felt pennant, two (2) "First Nighter" River Front Stadium Certificates and stubs from the first Game Raincheck at Riverfront Stadium. As a bonus for fans of Ohio Sports, two stubs from the Sept. 20, 1970 Raiders vs Bengals Game are also included.Lot also includes original newspaper articles commemorating above listed events. All ticket stubs in NRMT condition with the exception of 8 of the WS tix and 6 others on which the teams and scores were hand written in ball point pen.
