1970's Ernie Higgins Pro-Molded Fiberglass Mask
Ernie Higgins, mask maker to the stars, outfitted many of the game's top netminders. Gerry Cheevers popularized the painted mask with his "stitched" Higgins. Peter Crosbie wore this massive pro-molded mask in American Hockey League play with the Boston Braves and the Providence Reds during the mid 1970's. Straps and all interior padding are intact, as is the Ernest Higgins decal on the inside. Original cream paint plastered with evidence of heavy game use. LOA signed by Peter Crosbie and a photocopy showing Peter wearing the mask is included.
