1970's Mean Joe Greene Coca Cola promotional T-Shirt Jersey

1970's Mean Joe Greene Coca Cola promotional T-Shirt Jersey

Hall of Famer Joe " Mean Joe" Green was the anchor of the 1970's Pittsburgh Steelers' famous "Steel Curtain" Defense. The Steel Curtain shut down opposing offenses and help the Steelers earn 4 Super Bowl Championships. One of the most memorable television advertisements of the 1970's featured Mean Joe tossing his game worn jersey to a young fan while drinking a Coca Cola. The twist obviously was that Coca Cola can make even a menacing figure like Mean Joe Greene smile. This is a promotional T-Shirt Jersey that Coca Cola made available to consumers in the 1970's. The t-shirt is a replica of a Steelers home jersey. The front features "Mean Joe Greene" in yellow block lettering with Black trim and "75" in black. The back contains "75" in black lettering. The right sleeve contains the slogans " Have a Coke and a Smile" and "Coke adds life." in black lettering along with gold stripes trimmed in black. The left sleeve contains "75" in black lettering along with gold stripes trimmed in black.
