1970's Paul Hoganson's WHA Game Worn Goalie Mask
Seldom seen pro-molded Fibrosport heavy fiberglass goal mask similar to those worn by Bernie Parent and Jacques Plante. This example was worn for a few WHA seasons by netminder Paul Hoganson. Paul roamed the crease with the Sharks, Blades, Whalers, Stingers and Racers following a short stint with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1970-71. The mask has its original straps and most interior padding. A chip above the eye was caused by "a Bobby Hull slapshot that sent me to the hospital," according to Hoganson. Well used, but excellent condition.
