Travel Poster for Pan Am airlines is a large image of Pele in action. The Perola Negra, or “Black Pearl”, as he was also known was an instant sensatation in the United States, after he had already brought the game of soccer to unimangined heights in Brazil. The former Brazilian star is responsible for breaking down the lines, inciting US travel to Brazil. Here he sports a New York Cosmos uniform. The vintage black sharpie signature is unusually large.
