Dazzling dureen uniform of the St. Louis Blues worn by team leader Al Arbour at the start of the 1970-71 campaign. Wondrous pre-name-on-back round neck style, displaying Al’s number “3” and tagged in the hem by Rawlings in size 48 with the attached washing instructions and Giesler-Jorgan tag. No less than five circular team repairs with scattered stick slashes and red paint marks tell the tale of the wear on this Hall-of-Famer’s sweater. No alterations of any kind other than the removal of the Captain’s “C”. Al started the season with the “C” as evidenced in the team photo from the pre-season. Obtained along with 34 other home and road jerseys from the set from the collection of a former trainer.
