1970 Jimi Hendrix N.Y. Pop Fest Handbill and Programs (8)

1970 Jimi Hendrix N.Y. Pop Fest Handbill and Programs (8)

This collection features very memorable memorabilia from the New York Pop Fest, held on Randall’s Island in New York City July 17, 18 and 19, 1970 -- most notable for the sad fact that the Jimi Hendrix Experience concert was one of the Gypsy King's last, since he died of a heroin voerdoes a bare two months later. Other featured acts were Steppenwolf, Grand Funk Railroad, Joe Cocker, Van Morrison, Dr. John, Jethro Tull and many other well-known acts. Handbill is in NRMT condition and eight copies of the program featuring an exclusive interview with Jimi Hendrix are included. The programs are all NRMT. Three photographer’s passes in good condition, each measuring approximately 2 ?” by 4” are also part of this historically significant collection.
