1970 Willie Mays Topps Contract

1970 Willie Mays Topps Contract

The Topps Chewing Gum company of Brooklyn, New York, owes much of its success to Willie Mays, and in 1974, Topps produced the largest piece of gum in history - the equivalent of 10,000 pieces - and presented it the Say Hey Kid. Offered is a contract dated February 26, 1970, serving to “extend the term of our present contract, plus extensions” between Mays and Topps. Signed in bold blue ballpoint and dated. Signature grades a “9.5” out of a possible 10. Contract is a strong EX-MT.
