1970s California Golden Seals Prototype Jersey
This Wilson size 44 tagged California Golden Seals jersey appears to have been configured by the manufacturer as an example to the team of what the jerseys would look like, including two options of sleeve numbers. The vibrant, green durene jersey has lace-up collar above “Seals” stitched on the front. The left sleeve features a smaller number “24” sewn between the sleeve striping and the gold shoulder yoke, while the right sleeve number “24” is thinner and extends into the white sleeve stripe. “VADNAIS” is sewn directly on the back above the number “24.” Three small holes are on the back side, including one near the collar and two below the numbers. There is one small hole on each sleeve below the numbers. Otherwise in near-mint condition with no game use evident.
