1971 Bruce Springsteen & The Allman Brothers Concert Handbill

1971 Bruce Springsteen & The Allman Brothers Concert Handbill

One of the most unusual combinations of acts is this original oversized concert handbill announcing The Allman Brothers two concerts at Asbury Park's Sunshine-In with Special Added Attraction Bruce Springsteen and Friendly Enemies (one of two shows where Bruce used this name). Bruce and the band were heavily influenced by the Allman's that night. Miami Steve Van Zandt began to play slide guitar and they soon after added a second drummer. The large poster from this venue sold for over $4,000 in our last sale. EX+ and 8.5x14". Only four copies of this handbill are known to exist.
