1971 Fergie Jenkins Signed Homerun Ball
During his Cy Young season Fergie blasted this ONL (Feeney) over the wall at Wrigley Field and in to the glove of Chicago’s famed long-ball groupie Rich Buhrke, the second Jenkins ball he’s caught and the 62nd HR ball of his career. Black ink side panel signature is accompanied with Buhrke’s inscription, “8th Career Homer July 16, 1971” and “#2”. “#62” on the sweet spot. Signature is a 9/10. Nice use throughout. LOA. Included is a copy of Sports Illustrated, which features the tale of Rich’s many catches.
