1971 PEB Limited Edition Print Set Gifted to Jorge Velasquez
The artist better known as PEB (real name, Pierre Bellocq) began sketching horse racing subjects professionally in 1954, and his best works are compiled in this Limited Edition (26/150) boxed set inscribed to Hall of Fame jockey Jorge Velasquez. All writing is 9/10 or better, and the prints - 92 in all are remaining - are likewise in fine condition. The box containing the prints has come loose from its binding, but this would be an easy fix. Prints each measure 14x17". Lot includes Letter of Provenance from Jorge Velasquez and is pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
