1972 1st Printing Winterland Poster

1972 1st Printing Winterland Poster

The Stones played Bill Graham's Winterland Theater on June 6th and 8th, 1972, a signal moment in the storied history of rock and roll in San Francisco. The poster for the concerts is a gem of simplicity, a minimalist image of two "tumbling dice" against a black backdrop, with the familiar Fillmore style psychedlic printing in bright orange and yellow on top and bottom and a green border line. Poster is under glass in a black frame. The piece is NRMT, the only flaws being small tacking holes at the corners.
