1972 National League All-Star Team Signed Baseball
You'd be hard pressed to find a better specimen than this NRMT official National League (Giles) baseball that proves even two years after the commissioner left office, some balls were still in circulation. It is distinguished by 29 blue ink signatures rating 8-9/10. The notable signers include Clemente, Bench, Aaron, Morgan, Gibson, Brock, McGraw, Santo, Jenkins, Carlton, Sutton, Seaver, Mays, Stargell, Torre and more. There are even a few old timers here including Koufax, Reese and Gomez. The 1972 All-Star Game was played in Atlanta and saw the host NL squad outlasting the AL 4-3 in 10 innings... the first of a record 11 straight victories by the Senior Circuit in the exhibition.
