1972 Phil Esposito Official NHL Goal Puck
During the early 1970's the NHL instituted a program whereby the pucks used to score each and every goal in NHL play were collected, labeled and marketed to the public. This Converse Montreal Canadiens game puck is labeled "Boston Bruins, Phil Esposito, 11/29/72. The accompanying NHL Certificate lists additional infor-mation including the assist credits. From the personal collec-tion of long-time Bruins trainer John "Frosty" Forristall.
