1972 Topps and O-Pee-Chee Hockey Display Boxes
Hockey display boxes from the early 70’s are quite rare and a collection of (2) 1972 boxes comes along only once in a great while. The O-Pee-Chee box (indicating 36 / 10¢ packs) is in exemplary EXMT to NM condition, with only slight wear evident at the corners. The Topps version (indicating 24 / 10¢ packs) is in EX-MT condition, very clean, with only slightly more wear showing on the top panel. All colors on both are bold and bright, with outstanding graphics. It’s very difficult to find early hockey boxes in any condition, let alone these 2 amazing examples. Get them, you’ll be glad you did! NOTE: boxes are empty!
