1973-75 Johnny Bench Game Used Bat (35.5”) Signed by Hall of Famers
Hillerich & Bradsby Johnny Bench signature model B278C was heavily used by the Hall of Fame catcher. Handle is covered in pine tar. Handwritten in marker on both ends is his #5. Piece of masking tape on handle with handwritten in red pen: “June 24, 1977”. Barrel of the bat has been graced with 11 signatures including Leonard, Dandridge, Roush, Ted Lyons, Sewell, Slaughter, A.B. Chandler, Travis Jackson & Gibson (light). Signatures average about a 7 out of a possible 10.
