1973-76 Muhammad Ali vs. Ken Norton I, II, and III Tickets w/Two Full (All PSA)
<p><span style="font-size: 13px;">Muhammad Ali and Ken Norton fought three epic heavyweight title bouts between the years 1973 and 1976, with Ali winning two of them. This lot consists of a ticket from each of those three historic fights, all of which have been encapsulated and certified by PSA. <span style="font-size: small; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">These tickets were culled from the #1 Ranked Muhammad Ali Ticket Collection on the PSA Registry, which is being offered as a "set break" in our Spring Classic 2022 auction. Listed on the PSA Registry as "Muhammad Ali On-Site Ticket Collection," the collection is 74.60% complete with a Weighted GPA of 11.56. </span><strong>1) Ali/Norton I. </strong>Ticket stub (3.75x2") from the NABF heavyweight title bout held at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California, on March 31, 1973. Graded EX 5 by PSA. This is one of three examples of this particular stub graded at this level, with just five graded higher. Norton defeated Ali by split decision to win the Heavyweight Championship. </span><strong style="font-size: 10pt;">Ali/Norton II. </strong><span style="font-size: 13px;">Full ticket (6.5x2") from the NABF heavyweight title bout held at the Forum in Los Angeles, California, on September 10, 1973. Certified "Authentic" by PSA. This is one of only two full examples listed in the PSA Population report. Ali defeated Norton by split decision in twelve rounds to recapture the Heavyweight Championship. <strong>3) Ali/Norton III.</strong> Full ticket (6x1.75") from the heavyweight title bout held at Yankee Stadium in New York City on September 28, 1976. Graded NM 7 by PSA. This is one of seven examples of this particular ticket graded at this level by PSA, with just two graded higher. Ali defeated Norton by unanimous decision in fifteen rounds to retain his title.</span></p>
