1973 Arlington Park Triple Crown Winner Secretariat Ticket
A historic ticket stub from June 30, 1973, when Secretariat came to Arlington Park out of friendship, as the purse offered after the Triple Crown was half of what the other tracks were offering but Penny Chenery did it anyway. The boisterous crowd thanked Chenery for bringing her prized thoroughbred to Arlington Park for them to witness by chanting "Penny! Penny! Penny!" There is some creasing, measures 1.5x3", otherwise bright red color and very nice.
