1973 New York Yankees Signed Page w/Thurman Munson (PSA)

Thurman Munson, New York Yankees catching legend, has signed this notebook page, along with 11 other Yankees from 1973. Munson, the Yankee Captain, hit .282 lifetime and won three Gold Gloves. The tough-as-nails backstop lost his life in August 1979 when the plane he was piloting crashed. A clutch player, Munson helped the Yankees to two World Series championships, hitting .373 in three World Series. He remains a popular Yankee icon. Additional autographs: Bill White, former National League first baseman and a Yankee broadcaster; Pat Dobson, pitcher; Jerry Moses, catcher; Fritz Peterson, pitcher; Mel Stottlemyre, Yankee pitcher, and later a noted MLB pitching coach; Lindy McDaniel, pitcher; George "Doc" Medich, pitcher; Felipe Alou, outfielder/first baseman; Jim Magnuson, pitcher; Bernie Allen, infielder; Ron Bloomberg, first baseman and the first designated hitter in baseball history; Celerino Sanchez, third baseman; and Jim Roland, pitcher. Creasing remains from when the looseleaf page was folded into eight parts. The page measures approximately 7.65 x 10.5". There is foxing, as well as substantial paper loss in several places. There are some smudges, and a very small smear. The looseleaf page does have a dozen Yankee autographs, and Munson's signature makes the page special. Comes with PSA LOA.
