Beautiful John Stallworth jersey dating to his 1974 rookie season, very likely his first pro jersey. It has the Honus Wagner Sporting Goods tag in the tail which was used up to 1972, but as was common with the Steeelers, jerseys were kept from season to season and this was either a blank from the early 1970s or was a number 82 jersey from the prior year or two and was lettered up for Stallworth when he was drafted. The black size 44 Sand Knit jersey bears the wide receiver‚s number in white on front, back, and sleeves, with his name in yellow numbers on a black nameplate.
