1975 Gordie Howe Game Used Sherwood Stick
Goals scored with this stick did not add to the tally of 801 as Gordie used this stick during his days with the Houston Aeros of the WHA. Sherwood PMP model, factory stamped "G. HOWE" and "9" and date stamped "19 AOUT 1975." The heavy black "bulldog" knob is taped in a style unique to Howe gamers and the blade is taped in white, again, correct for the period. A vintage inscribed ballpoint signature appears high up on the shaft. In absolutely perfect condition with no cracking or damage.
