1975 Paul Blair Gold Glove Award
Baltimore Orioles’ centerfielder was quite an offensive force, but for what he is most remembered is his sensational play in the outfield. Offered is Paul Blair’s last of eight Gold Glove awards, presented by Rawlings in 1975. Stunning gold glove with “Major League All-Star Fielding Team” stamped in the palm sits atop wooden podium with a golden baseball on either side. A brass photo plaque of the smiling Paul Blair rests just below the glove. Below that is another plaquard which reads “1975 Rawlings Gold Glove Award presented to Paul Blair – 8 time winner. Honoring His Selection to The Sporting News American League All Star Fielding Team”. All original, an absolutely breathtaking piece of baseball tradition. Excellent condition. stands 17” tall and 17” wide.
