1975 World Champion Cincinnati Reds & A.L. Champion Boston Red Sox Team Signed Baseballs (ex-Reds GM Dick Wagner)
Few images are burned into the annals of World Series lore like Carlton Fisk begging his home run to stay fair in Game 6 of the 1975 classic, though his Red Sox would lose the next game. These two balls are signed by the combatants in that epic series, the World Champ Cincinnati Reds and the AL Champ Sox. The Big Red Machine is on an Official National League (Feeney) baseball that is NRMT and signed by 26 in 6-7/10 black ballpoint, including: Anderson, Klu, Bench, Rose, Geronimo, Morgan, Griffey, Foster, Perez. The BoSox are on an Official American League (MacPhail) baseball that is also NRMT, signed by 23 in 6-7/10 ballpoint pen, highlighted by: Yaz, Fisk, Wise, Lynn, Rice, Lee, Petrocelli, Johnson. These come with a business card from Reds VP, Richard (Dick) Wagner that is noted "Thought that you would like to have this, Dick," indicating that the Reds ball was a gift from Wagner.
