1975 World Series Game 7 Ticket Stub PSA EX-MT 6 (Pop 1 of 2 Highest Graded)
By its very nature, every World Series Game 7 is sure to be etched into the history books, and this stub from the 1975 classic is no different. On the strength of Carlton Fisk's legendary 12th-inning walkoff homer in Game 6 (which he famously "waved" fair), the Sox forced the series into a deciding game on October 22 at Fenway Park, with both teams trying to end lengthy championship droughts. Boston grabbed a 3-0 lead, but the Reds rallied on the strength of a Tony Perez homer and a 9th inning RBI by Joe Morgan to claim the 4-3 victory and the hardware that went with is. Cincinnati snapped a string of 35 years without a championship, while the Curse of the Bambino continued in Boston for the time being. Stub is crisp with sharp corners, encapsulated by PSA with a strong EX-MT 6 grade. (A stub from Game 6 - the famous Fisk homer game - is also available in this auction.)
