1976 Craig Patrick Team USA Canada Cup Game Worn Jersey

1976 Craig Patrick Team USA Canada Cup Game Worn Jersey

Outstanding 1976 game worn Team USA jersey was originally obtained directly from Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Craig Patrick. Worn during that year's Canada Cup Tournament, the white top has AV Athletic Knit size 44 tag in collar, shoulders are blue with white stars, and red and white stripes alternate at the bottom. USA eagle logo is screened on the chest, Patrick's number 19 is on the back in red-on-blue, and his name is in all red lettering; all are screen painted including the stars on the shoulders. Moderate use is displayed consistent with use as one uniform set during a 5-game tournament, with stick marks and light pilling inside. A member of the legendary Patrick hockey dynasty, Craig's 8-year playing career was unspectacular, but his overall contributions to the sport easily merited Hall of Fame honors, including serving as an assistant coach to the 1980 USA "Miracle on Ice" team. As the General Manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins he was the architect of the franchise's first two Stanley Cup Championships along with two additional trips to the Eastern Conference Finals. Solid provenance, exceptional item from a US hockey pioneer.
