1976 Lawrence Welk Concert Poster at Oral Roberts University
American bandleader and TV host Lawrence Welk was a mainstay on the small screen from the mid-'50s to 1982. Reruns of his iconic, wholesome variety show are still enjoyed by fans of all ages in syndication. Up for auction here is a one-of-a-kind, masterfully hand-painted poster with thriller image of Welk and this "Champagne Music." The Bicentennial show at Oral Roberts University's Mabee Center in Oklahoma salutes Welk's 73rd birthday and boasts "40 T.V. STARS". Measures 28" x 44" on cardboard and is in EX condition.
