1976 Mark Howe WHA All Star Game Plaque

1976 Mark Howe WHA All Star Game Plaque

Few families in sports history compare with hockey’s Howe dynasty. This plaque was awarded to Mark Howe – son of legend Gordie – for his selection to the 1976 WHA All-Star team. It reads, “Fourth Annual World Hockey Association All Star Game – United States Team – Mark Howe – Houston Aeros. Cleveland Coliseum – January 13, 1976.” Some denting on face of plaque, but item is in VG-EX condition. Mark, along with his father and brother Marty, were largely credited with helping the WHA establish credibility upon their arrival in the fledgling circuit. In 2011, he was honored for his 16-year NHL career with induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Includes letter of authenticity signed by Howe.
