1976 Sex Pistols and The Clash Original Handbill
This 6x9" card promotes "A Night of Punk Rock" on December 9, 1976 at the Electric Circus in Manchester, England. The lineup is exceptional, featuring seminal band The Sex Pistols as the headliners, with The Clash, the Damned and Johnny Thunder's Heartbreaker receiving secondary billing. The club logo adorns the top of the mini-poster and ticket prices are listed at the bottom. Three of the four bands were London-based (Johnny Thunders was from New York), and the Clash went on to become the only act to have statewide success on the pop singles chart. NRMT.
