1977-78 Bobby Guindon Winnipeg Jets Game-Worn Jersey
Here's a vintage, game-worn Winnipeg Jets jersey from the wild and wonderful World Hockey Association. Winger Bobby Guindon scored 112 goals in 463 games in the WHA and played six games in the National Hockey League after the Jets joined the circuit for the 1979-80 NHL season. This jersey was worn during the Jets’ 1977-78 Avco Cup championship season, in which they defeated the New England Whalers in the Finals. This home (white) Harv-Al Knit jersey shows terrific use with a smattering of stick marks on the bottom hem below the screened-on Winnipeg Jets crest. Guindon’s number “18” is sewn onto the sleeves and back in two-color twill. Guindon’s name rests on a name-length nameplate on the back. An outstanding example from an Avco Cup championship season.
