1977 Jerry Morales All-Star Game H&B Signed Bat
One can almost feel Morales' buttons popping in pride reading his inscription on the barrel of the personal model 1977 All Star Game bat he earned that season as a Chicago Cubs outfielder. The venue of the game offered a special thrill for the Puerto Rican native, who etched in blue marker his name and "1977 All-Star Game, Yankee Stadium" on the Louisville Slugger K75 lumber, though the bat's own engraving "1977 All Star Game, New York, N.Y." with his facsimile signature needs no embellishment. Morales used this good-as-gold memento only briefly, to christen it, thus it has just light use with a few nicks and markings, and shines with a smooth gloss.
