1977 Seattle Mariners Team Signed Baseball
This Official American League ball has been signed by more than 20 members of the Seattle Mariners in the team's inaugural year - 1977. The creation of the Mariners brought baseball back to Seattle after the Pilots left to become the Milwaukee Brewers. The Mariners ended the season just avoiding last place with a 64–98 record. The ball features signatures from manager Darrell Johnson (on the sweet spot), Mike Kekich, Paul Mitchell, Diego Segui, Craig Reynolds, Tom McMillan, Glenn Abbott, Bob Stinson, Dick Pole, Bob Galasso, John Montague, Jim Busby, Bill Laxton, Bill Stein, Gary Wheelock, Ruppert Jones, Larry Cox, Juan Bernhardt, Jose Baez, Don Bryant, Wes Stock, Julio Cruz and Dan Meyer.
