1977 "The Deadliest Season" Movie Worn Jersey
Beautiful durene jersey was used in the 1977 film, "The Deadliest Season." At a glance, the crest in this blue jersey is a clear imitation of the early Winnipeg Jets logo, though closer examination lists the team as "Jax" and is of far lower quality than one would see for a pro team, apparently good enough for filming. Gerry Cosby tag is in the collar, number 6 is on both sleeves and back in red-on-white tackle twill, and lot comes with a copy of an ad from the movie with player wearing this exact jersey. Light use is evident, drawstring for collar is not present. The sports drama originally aired on CBS and starred Michael Moriarty, Kevin Conway, and Meryl Streep.
