Unopened case holds 54 unopened wax pack counter display boxes, each containing 36, two-card wax packs (54 boxes, 1,944 packs, 3,888 cards). Original shipping carton from Mexican Topps Distributor had top flaps of outer shipping carton opened by U.S. Customs inspection when this case was first shipped to the U.S. 24 years ago. The 1977 Topps Mexican Football set is a 528-card, Spanish test issue of the Standard English 1977 Topps set. All text is in Spanish. Set includes: Largent (Rookie), Payton (2nd Year), Bradshaw, Staubach, Tarkenton, Griese, Theisman, Simpson. The Standard Catalogue lists a complete 528-card set at $6,000. This unopened case of 3,888 cards could have a value potential upwards of $40,000. The value of the wrappers alone is at least $1,000. Ideal case to break down for PSA grading.
