1978-79 Dave Dryden WHA Edmonton Oilers Game Worn Jersey
Dave Dryden literally "rubbed elbows" with the Great One, Wayne Gretzky, during the 1978-79 WHA season with the Edmonton Oilers. This is his blue heavy dureen uniform with the "reverse" color Oilers logo sewn onto the chest. The number "28" sits on the arms and back beneath the "DRYDEN" nameplate. The Rawlings tag marked size "48" appears in the collar. More than a few team repairs and some interior customization tell the tale of the wear on this one. Dave has lightly signed the front crest in blue ballpoint, something a trip to the dry cleaner would easily remedy. Purchased from Milton Byron.
