1978-79 Montreal Canadiens Prince of Wales Championship Trophy (13")
While 52 wins represented a slip for the team, it was unmatched in the Wales conference and the Canadiens captured the regular season conference title for the fourth consecutive year. The NHL presented this personal miniature to Guy Lafleur for his part in this memorable season. Four towering sticks rise from the wood base to support a silver plate cup with attached lid. A plaque on one side of the base reads "HRH Prince of Wales Trophy - Guy Lafleur." The opposing side is inscribed "NHL Champions - Montreal Canadiens - 1978-79." In need of re-plating, otherwise in excellent condition. Included is a Letters of Authenticity signed by Guy Lafleur.
