1978 Affirmed Triple Crown Program & Ticket Collection (9)
On June 10, 1978, Affirmed became the last horse of the millennium to win the Triple Crown. All three races featured the chestnut stallion besting the beloved Alydar. Presented here is a nice collection of programs, betting tickets and an admission ticket to the Preakness encapsulated by PSA. Included are: 104th Kentucky Derby Track Programs (3) all in NRMT condition; A Kentucky Derby $10 Win ticket for Affirmed; Preakness Stakes Program in EX++ condition with just a slight dog ear in the upper right hand corner; a Preakness Stakes $10 Win ticket for Affirmed; The Belmont Stakes Program in Mint Condition; A Belmont Stakes $10 win ticket for Affirmed; and a Preakness Stakes full admission ticket encapsulated NM-MT 8 (Pop 1, none higher at the time of this writing) by PSA.
