1980's Nolan Ryan Houston Astros Game Worn Jersey
The 1980’s were a landmark decade for this eventual 27-season pitcher - Nolan Ryan recorded his 3,000th career strikeout, broke Koufax’s mark as he pitched his 5th no-hitter, and was the first to break Walter Johnson’s all-time strikeout record with his 3,509th. This mid-1980's home, white jersey has "Astros" and its star on the front, and "RYAN" with individually sewn letters on a plate on the back, with his # 34 below the name on back, all in double-layered tackle twill. Ryan has signed the jersey in 8/10 black Sharpie above the Goodman size 44 tag on the front tail. Comes with a matching undershirt (not worn by Ryan). Jersey shows moderate game use.
