1980-81 Barry Beck New York Rangers Game Worn Jersey

1980-81 Barry Beck New York Rangers Game Worn Jersey

Though the latter part of his time with the New York Rangers was marred by injury and controversy, Barry Beck was a bright spot for the organization when he was traded to the team from the Colorado Rockies in 1979. This classic blue jersey worn by Beck during the 1980-81 season has "NEW YORK" on the front and "3" on both sleeves and back. "BECK" is sewn directly on the jersey above the 3 on the back, though there is evidence that the name was covered by a nameplate at one time. However, the name on back, as well as the other lettering and numbers, are all original. A Cosby size 56 tag appears in the collar with a "9" date tag indicating the jersey was manufactured in 1979, and a loop style fight strap can be found inside. The jersey shows very nice use with fraying, two team repairs on the right sleeve, board burns and stick marks. There is moderate pilling inside from game use, but this is a beautiful jersey with perfect use. Comes with LOA.
