1980 Bryan Trottier NHL All Star Game Worn Jersey

1980 Bryan Trottier NHL All Star Game Worn Jersey

From the personal collection of Isles superstar Bryan Trottier comes this striking orange mesh uniform worn during the 1980 All Star Classic held in Detroit. Trottier witnessed an historic moment as the game marked the last appearance for Gordie Howe and the first for a young Wayne Gretzky. The uniform features the embroidered NHL crest on the chest with two smaller logos on each breast and again on each shoulder. “Trottier” appears in individually applied letters above the back number and Bryan has added a large silver signature on the lower hem. Tagged in the neck by Cosby with a “52” fly tag and washing instructions. This jersey remained in Bryan’s personal collection until he consigned it, along with additional items, to the Beckett Auction at the 1999 National Sports Collectors Convention (signed catalog included). Comes with additional documentation and a COA (mistakenly identified in catalog and letter as a 1978-79 uniform) from Beckett.
