1980 Gordie Howe Last Ever Hockey Game At Olympia Game Used Jersey
Before Orr and Gretzky revolutionized hockey, Gordie Howe went up and down the ice scoring at will and planting elbows in the faces of his opponents. Detroit Red Wings fire red jersey, trimmed in white, has the team insignia on the chest with number “9” patches on each sleeve. Rawlings tag in collar (Size 48). Reverse has “Howe” with “9” below it. In the “9” is Howe’s signature in blue Sharpie. This was the last jersey that Howe wore in Detroit’s Olympia Arena. Gordie Howe happened to score that last goal in this old-timers game also. So, this is also the jersey that Howe wore to score his last and THE last goal ever at Olympia. With LOA from Red Wings trainer. Also, a copy of a 1980 Old Timers team photo (including Howe wearing this exact jersey) taken by Red Wings photographer, along with a signed note.
