1980 Miracle On Ice Seat Signed by Mike Eruzione with "80 Gold" Inscription
Original 1980 Olympic Arena seat used during the 1980 Winter Olympics, including the legendary "Miracle on Ice" hockey game between the United States and Soviet Union, signed by 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey team captain Mike Eruzione on the back rest. Eruzione has boldly inscribed the seat "Mike Eruzione/80 Gold" in black Sharpie, with the signature grading 10/10. The unit consists of the back rest and attached seat. These Olympic Stadium seats are rare and the offered example is especially noteworthy because it comes with two original seat mounts (the seats were not originally sold with seat mounts) so that the unit can stand freely if so desired. The nuts and bolts necessary for mounting are not included, but can easily be purchased at any hardware store. The red plastic seat unit (numbered "10") displays wear commensurate with its former use and is in Excellent condition overall. Accompanied by a COA signed by Mike Eruzione and full LOA from PSA (for the Eruzione signature only). Please note: the size and/or weight of this lot will necessitate an increased shipping charge.
