1980 Negro League Signed Fan Club Invitations (2)
Two Puerto Rican League invitations to a game-day Santurce Crabbers (Cangrejeros) fan-club celebration for the Negro League greats of the past. The first is dated December 14, 1979 and is signed by Rey Leon, John Ford Smith, Rev Bill Greason, Ruben Gomez, Bus. Clarkson, Williard Brown, Fdo. Ramos and one other. The second is signed by Frank Robinson, Tony Perez, Bob Thurman, Juan Beniquez, Pedro Zorilla and one other. They are each 5 X 9 inches with a charming logo of a crab straddling a baseball. Invites folded and show some discoloration and signatures are NRMT.
