1980 Olympic Hockey Collection with Two Pelle Lindbergh Autographs
The 1980 Winter Olympics are known for many reasons, the biggest of which was the "Miracle on Ice", where an ultra-underdog Team USA defeated the heavy-favorite Soviet Union. This lot is an excellent collection of hockey memorabilia from those Olympics. Includes: a rare 1980 Team Sweden Olympic guide signed by nearly 40 athletes, including Pelle Lindbergh; a 1980 Romanian hockey team signed postcard; a 1980 Team Sweden stick (Soderstrom, game model, unused) signed by six players including Lindbergh; a 1980 Icelandic Olympic team program signed by all team members; a signed Hungarian skaters photo; and a rare 1980 Team USA Olympic hockey media guide. All items and signatures are EX or better. The 1980 Team Sweden stick and 1980 Team Sweden Olympic guide have a JSA LOA.
