1980 Sadaharu Oh Game Used Bat (34.5").

1980 Sadaharu Oh Game Used Bat (34.5").

Exceptionally rare (and all but unseen on this side of the Pacific) war club was the weapon of choice for the true home run king, Japan's master of the long ball. Unique Jun Ishus bat is the only kind that Oh took to the plate, and though this one shows only minimal use, it's still quite possibly the bearer of a home run or two. Inscription is to American big leaguer Jose Morales, and reads, in fat black marker, "To Jose, Sadaharu Oh." Note that Oh signs with both his Japanese and European signatures. Your 500 Home Run Club bat collection isn't truly complete without this.
