1980 USA Hockey Photographs with Game 6 Full Ticket and Autographs
Interesting lot relates to one of the great upsets in sport history, the 1980 Winter Olympics "Miracle on Ice." The highlight is a stunning ticket stub from Game 6, the legendary showdown between the United States and the Soviet Union. Stub measures roughly 6.25x2.75" and has a bright, terrific look. Included are nine (9) personal snapshot images from that game, most measuring about 5.25x3.5", including one fixed on the scoreboard with the final, USA 4, URS 3 as well as post-game reaction shots of both teams. Finally, a selection of eight (8) cut autographs mounted on a scrapbook page including Team USA Coach Herb Brooks as well as ABC commentators Lynn Swann, Jim McKay, Curt Gowdy, Keith Jackson, and more.
