1980 Wayne Gretzky Game Used Rookie Titan Stick
Wayne Gretzky silenced his critics with his stellar performance throughout his first year in the National Hockey League. This is Wayne’s Titan Custom Pro from the 1979-80 season. Tell-tale signs including shaved edges and the three-inch strip of black “bulldog” tape at the heel date this stick to Gretzky’s rookie campaign. Factory stamped “W. Gretzky” in black near the yellowed knob with “WG” in pencil down at the heel. Apart from evidence of light game use, this example is in near perfect condition. A historic stick, destined to be the showpiece of a fine collection.
