1980s-2000s In-Person Spring Training Signed Baseball Collection (120)
This collection of 120 signed balls comes from a Florida man who obtained all of them during Spring Training in his home state from the 1980s to 2000s. All are either ONL or OAL balls from the period, a few have multiple signatures, and some were used in Spring Training. A cavalcade of legends appear on the balls, including Mantle, Ryan, Drysdale, Mays, Haddix, Carter, Vander Meer, Hunter, Musial, R. Jackson, Rose, Killebrew, Mattingly, Spahn, Berra, F. Thomas, Dawson, Garvey, Brock, Palmer, B. Robinson, Winfield, F. Robinson, Brett, Guidry, Kaline, Boggs, Fidrych, Molitor, Schoendienst, Valenzuela, Coleman and more. There is some mild toning and spots on the balls, which average 5.0, while the sigs rate 7.0. All but two baseballs come in their original boxes and are labeled, seven of which are ONL (Feeney or Giamatti), and there are some duplicates. This is a powerhouse collection of signatures from many all-time greats.
