1980’s Maurice Richard Game Worn Old Timers Jersey
Maurice Richard is one of the all time leading scorers in NHL history. He was the first to score 500 goals in his career, and the first to score 50 in a single season. A national hero in Canada, Richard was more than just a great hockey player, having the kind of impact on hockey fans worldwide that a political figure might have. He has been likened to Muhammad Ali in terms of the kind of influence he had on his followers and he represents the golden age of hockey. Offered is a Montreal Canadiens jersey worn by the Rocket for an Old Timers game during the 1980’s. Great look exactly resembles the jerseys he wore during the height of his career. Large star logo with embroidered “Montreal” on the front. Each sleeve with “The Original Six, Old Timers Hockey” ironed on in white lettering. Care tag is attached to the inside seam near the collar. Nice use. LOA from Richard’s family.
