1980s Vin Scully "Press Box" Sign from Dodger Stadium
This icon called Dodgers games for sixty-seven years, the longest tenure of any broadcaster with a single team in pro sports history. Scully combined interpretation of baseball strategies, unique conversational style, and insider baseball knowledge to create a unique bond between the Dodgers and their fans. Offered here is the actual Press Box sign that hung outside of the area Vin Scully broadcasted from in Dodger Stadium. The white metal sign reads "Press Box" in blue. Measures 8x30" with tape remnants on the back. This lot includes a presentaional "Vin Scully Avenue" LA street sign (11x30"), which was never used.
